Abercelyn Country House and Cottages
Abercelyn Country House and cottages were built in the Georgian period about 300 years ago and are located in the hamlet of Llanycil on the shores of Lake Bala. Abercelyn is situated 1km south of Bala, Gwynedd, North Wales with easy access to Bala shops, restaurants and pubs.
Abercelyn is well positioned to take advantage of all the activities on offer around Bala (in Snowdonia National Park), with easy access to many other attractions and areas of outstanding natural beauty with breathtaking scenery of nearby mountain ranges.
Winter Getaways
Escape to the Welsh countryside in Snowdonia Country Park. Abercelyn Cottages is well suited with cozy warm cottages located by Lake Bala.
Snowed capped mountains surround us in Winter and occasionally the lake freezes making the scenery like a winter wonderland.
Summer Holidays
With Bala Lake being so close, water sports are just a stones throw away. Walking to the lake takes less than 2 minutes.
Bring your own canoe or hire one at the shop at the end of the lake. Cafes are near by for refreshments.
